LOVE

Back to my (recently) favorite topic: love… I heard some interesting stories that I want to share with you because they amazed me, and I became curious about these people and their love. So, in one of the stories (it's true, not my invention), a boy who was 18 years old fell in love with a 27-year-old woman. (what?)

He was in love with her for about 10 years unrequitedly.

During all the time he repeatedly expressed his love to the woman, but was rejected because of the big age difference, which at that time seemed like a huge gap. A boy who had just graduated from high school and a grown-up working woman…

So, years passed, and the boy's love didn't fade. He tried his chances from time to time, but the woman kept rejecting him. Then one day (10 years later), she asked him if he was still in love with her. He said, "Of course!" And then the woman said, "This is so unbelievable that I want this; this is something I really want." By then, the boy had become a man, 28 years old, and the woman was 37. The woman then said to him, "If you still love me, marry me."

So, just this summer, they got married and are happy to the moon. Unbelievable, right? I was amazed by this reluctant love, despite all the rejection. How can someone love another for years but only hoping to touch them, hold them, or be close to them, and still not be frightened by all the rejection they receive? And how can someone reject another for years and then one day fully accept them? Isn’t it magical?

The other love story was about someone falling in love with a celebrity or a famous actor or musician. How can someone be in love with a person who seems "unreachable"? And why? Is this some kind of adoration, and if it is, how can it last for decades? Isn’t it painful to be in love with someone you can’t even get close to, someone you will never be able to kiss or be with? When you love someone, you are almost hypnotized by that person, like a magnet that constantly attracts you.

You can hardly eat or sleep, waiting for the time when you have your date again. So many times, I’ve seen people who are in love and don’t look so healthy because they’ve lost a lot of weight and have dark circles under their eyes, so they appear a little bit 💥 sick… But on the other hand, they are still beautiful.

They shine, and this attracts even more people. When someone is in love, many more people become interested in them, simply because of this beautiful "radiation," which cannot be explained by reason...

...unfortunately, we didn’t have a "white Christmas" as I was hoping. However, we had a nice time...

Of course, we eat a lot. What did we eat? There were many different types of food, but in my family, my mom prepares her unresistable "bejgli,"

...which is a traditional Hungarian Christmas pastry. It can be filled with many things (the classic way is with poppy seeds and walnuts) and poppy seed bread and butter pudding.

Then, the main course is usually soup, "stuffed cabbage," some fried meat, mashed potatoes (or any kind of potato), rice, and different dips and salads, chocolates, hot chocolate, and nice coffee with whipped cream… And when you are already stuffed from eating all this, maybe some nice dried fruits or fresh fruits

 SEASONAL

Sometimes we hurt each other even if we love each other. We can loose our temper and that's just quite natural, however we can try to put sometimes a little bit 💥 more attention on our own behaviour and be more patience or whatever need to keep the peace and love we have between each other. Sometimes it maybe difficult because we feel that we have to proove that we are "right" but later we understand that it's not important if we are right or not (by the way who can decide about it) what's more important is the peace, although it is very fargile thing but only we can keep it or brake it and once it is broken it maybe difficult to rebuild it and there will be always some "scars" to remain.

The peace what we need to become happier and to be able to creat is something which can be felt from another person also and it is something which can be shared as well and this is what we need more than ever in our life and the in whole world.

Here in Budapest the life is more silent and peacefull than in Istanbul (which is a huge metropolis and a melting point of the east and the west). Budapest is a small city although it is the capital of Hungary with about 2 million people.

This is the last Sunday before Christmas which is also cold as "Gold Sunday". People are shopping and/or are already preparing there Christmas cakes...

...for the next Tuesday which is the first day of Christmas. The weather is cold especially the early morning and the evening, in the city it could be around 1-2 Celsius and at the countryside (forexample the last evening was) -3 Celsius...and it is normal. We were expecting some snow...and it has arrived and I really, really hope that we will have white Christmas...

This time the ice rinks are open. The schools are closed for winter break and althoug parents might be busy and tired after the hard work in December (year closing time everywhere) they have to find a solution what to do with the children. The best case they have grandparents who are happy to spend time with their grandchildren and are always spoiling ðŸ˜‰ them...

...but what else they would do and children enjoys to be with them. Here and Turkey are the same habit in this sense.

Yesterday was the last day of the darkness, from now on the light is comming. In many culture this is (and has been) an important seasonal celebration. With my friends we also made a little gathering and celebration in our wonderful, lovely Park, in Mikebuda in Hungary. We were sharing different types of meals, cookies, cakes and more... it was really divine 😋😊

We lit a bonfire and we were enjoying it sitting around it with the children, talking and playing music...drumming...to be precise 😄💥 Of course this was my favourite time of the evening, but the whole event was so nice, so warm and friendly, filled with joy and love.
